FAQ
Got Questions? We’re Here to Help.
What food are they eating? And how much?
They are eating Royal Canin medium breed puppy, it’s a blue and white bag. I will send some of this home with them on pickup day as well. They are currently free fed during the day with a break from 6pm-6am.
What potty training have they started?
They are used to a potty pan (from Chewy, check out our resources!). The potty pan is filled with animal bedding pellets.
Is there a written health guarantee?
Yes! Our puppies come with a one year written health guarantee/contract!
What size collar are they?
They’re very small at go home day, but can usually fit XS.
What do we bring on pickup day for travels?
We always recommend potty pads, water/water bowl, and a secure area (dog car seat, crate, etc.) for travels.
Do puppies come vaccinated and dewormed?
Yes! All puppies come up to date on vaccines and deworming. It is always recommended to take a stool sample with you to your first vet appointment to be sure no further deworming is needed. They come with their vaccination/deworming card.
Do the puppies come with AKC paperwork?
Although all parents are AKC registered, papers are reserved for homes that are planning to breed or participate in conformation events and are currently apart of an AKC dachshund club. This must be approved and discussed prior to purchase.
How do I get approved for a puppy and what is the process?
First, you need to fill out a puppy application (I will email/text this to you). Then, I review the application. After review and approval, we move to deposit. Once deposit is received, the puppy of your interest is marked “sold” and I send weekly updates/pics until pickup.
Where do we meet for puppy pick-up?
We meet at a public area once your puppy is 8 weeks of age.
